No screen after update #help!

Hi Guys,

I'm having trouble with my moto x 2014. I flashed the RETEU ALL factory image from this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto...2-5-0-t2970818) . The phone got in 4.4 again. From there I downloaded the 5.0 OTA via the settings interface, and the phone started installing. After that, the phone stayed blank. I cannot get the phone to boot, neither in recovery, nor bootloader. When I press the downkey for > 3 seconds, the green led does appear on the top of the device, but nothing happens on the screen.

I've never had this and no physical damage was done to the device in between the upgrades. Any ideas on the cause and how to fix this? Your help is appreciated!

Screen Broken

Accidentally my lg g pro f240l screen broken.has cracks on the screen but the touch is working fine.So should i need to replace the Touch screen digitizer or the whole display.I called Lg Service and they said that the touch glass and the display comes as whole set.So what should i replace?either only the touch glass or the whole display.?

T.m. Htc one m9 rebooted and now has a pin unlock screen which i didnt engage.

I am sending our this S.o.S. to anyone that could possibly be off some kind of help to me please!!!!!! I have a HTC ONE M9 T-Mobile varriant not unlocked not stolen nor a bad IMEI. I stoped my service a lik while back due to some disputes and what have you so needless to say they ate still working on it meanwhile phone is off on their behalf. So I went and got the pre-paid monthly SIM starter kit. WOOT WOOT Cell service again...... No problems for the last few weeks. Then today my phone shuts off and reboots it's on its own. But now there is a pin unlock screen to unlock the phone. Before I can use any of its functions or apps. I have tried hard factory reset but when I perform that task as ll ther d is is system info, reboot, reboot to bootloader reboot to download mode reboot to recovery mode or power down. Doesnt have fact reset like normaly does and I have no clue why the pin is tried normals like last 4 cell number last s.s. all the genarics they normaly use any advice would be greatly appreciated. In Stock ROM , There Is No Problems Like That

But Again Same Problem,, revert back to stock

S5 Memo Recovery w/ Broken Screen & No Root

Alright, so - my wife left her phone on the trunk of her car this afternoon, it fell off on the highway, and got in a (losing) fight with a tire. The screen is absolutely destroyed, but thanks to the case she had on it, the main body is mint condition. Everything works as it should, aside from the screen.

My son is 11 months old, and all of his milestone moments from the last 6 months are on her phone. Teeth, steps, words, foods, activities - his whole history. She was using the stock Memo application (for real? why???) without having it linked to a Samsung account (because, Google).

So, I've got a Samsung Galaxy S5 that doesn't have USB Debugging enabled, isn't rooted, and has a screen that's not only non-functioning, it's probably only 90% still there. It boots and runs just fine, and I can access files (non-root) while plugged into a PC.

As far as I can tell, the memo files should be located (/dbdata/databases/com.sec.android.app.memo)

I'm at a loss here on how to recover the files - I've already paid the deductible for a new phone, which should be here late next week...

Any and all help will be appreciated - thanks in advance!

Does not work with 2nd Generation Chromecast (cast screen option)

Got this phone today, and absolutely loving it. Since I don't use Android Pay it's not a big issue, though yes cast screen option does NOT work with the 2nd gen Chromecast, when I tried, it connected but then the chromecast just freezes, then disconnects after 20 secs. However, the cast screen option works with the 1st gen chromecast (I have both versions) so be warned, Google may do an update, but I'm not sure, but for those that plan to use this phone to cast screen (other options like casting youtube and such works), do NOT get the 2nd gen version of chromecast that just came out, get the 1st gen instead. Yes I turned off power saving option, and my Note 3 works on both when it comes to cast screen.

Screen failure after flash update of ROM

I made a nandroid backup and the reflashed my ROM (Jasmine 9.0 and 9.1) and the debloat script on TWRP 2.8.7.0. Wiped cache. Reboot system.

Now the screen doesn't come on. LG logo doesn't appear. Don't know what I'm doing now.

The ROM boots which I can tell by the LED cycle and it optimized apps, made the phone plugged in sound on boot. If I double tap the digitizer, the LED lights up to pretend the screen came on. Seems like the display is dead but the phone is working and booting. Is this even possible by software? I want to get into recovery and flash a KDZ, but Verizon made that difficult and I can't see at all what I'm doing.

How can i mirror my screen to my tv? Without a Network

Hey all, I was just wondering if anyone knows a way to mirror my screen to my tv. Its a Samsung smart tv with wifi. Right now im running Cataclysm M rom and I've tried a few different ways with no luck. I've seen a few videos that show kitkat had an option under display to mirro screen but its not there in M. I know i can use Chrome cast but i dont have a network at home right now. Any ideas?

Very slow charging when the screen is on

Has anybody noticed that if you have the screen on, the battery charges extremely slowly.

I've noticed that w the screen on using gsam, the battery is only being charged at 500mah whereas if the screen is off, it is being charged at 2200mah.

I get it that the phone will charge slower w the screen on, but it shouldn't be this bad.

Here's a screenshot, you can see that I started charging a little before 4pm and after 50 min it only charged aroudn 10%.

Once I turn the screen off it will start charging very fast. But it shouldn't be charging this slowly w the screen on.

I am having a small problem with my G3. Every so often (every other minute, maybe) the screen refreshes really quickly, kind of goes black for a fraction of a second and gets back to normal. When I am reading a book with kindle it does not affect my reading, but with some apps like The Economist, the article jumps to line 1 and I have to scroll down to get to the section I was reading.

This is a deal breaker for me, ever since I moved my Economist subscription from the Kindle store to a direct subscription with The Economist.

Does anyone have the same problem?

I am considering a reflash of the phone with CM13 or CM12 in order to see if the problem persists, but I am not convinced since at some point I might want to go back to the original FW and I have not figured out yet how to do that.

FTR, I have a OnePlus One and a Nexus5 but I rather use the G3 since I can have a 128GB SD card with all my music (subway commuting without signal is also a bummer in NYC).

Disable Daydrea/Make Dim screen

Anyway to disable daydream completely? Or to make it dim the screen instead? I know there is a none option which makes it go to sleep with a black screen or something.

, its bootlooping into bootloader, so my first thought was unlock bootloader flash recovery and side load a rom, play with radios and such after, but trying to unlock the bootloader doesn't work I've tried HTC dev twice to check the unlock code but it pushes it to the device and claims it was successful I get this;

I then found an RUU for the device and was thankful the unlocking didn't work so I was still locked, but every one I try to download is corrupt? Anybody have a working link for a UK ee (orange) radios and firmware? And do I have the right idea with this, download, rename, chuck it on an sdcard and bootloader should find it automatically?

How to disable on screen notifications over watch face?

Does anyone know how/if there is a way to prevent notifications from appearing on top of the watch face?

With my original Moto 360 / Android Wear, there was an option to disable this. You could still scroll down to see your notifications and still get vibrate notifications to let you know you got something new. But the notification would not cover the watch face. Any ideas?

How to get the adhesive tape to stick good after screen replacement?

I use original adhesive tape to connect the screen and backside. But everytime I fix a phone it does not stick good enough. I use clamps for 12 hours to get good pressure and also use a heatgun to heat it up before I put the clamps on. Still I have many customers complaining about the sceeen or backside coming off. So I end up using glue. Any suggestions on how to get the adhesive tape to stick good?

Missing screen mirroring on non rooted note 5 on sprint SOLVED!

Ok on my non rooted note 5 on sprint the instructions about going to the settings and edit and select screen mirroring don't work, as IT'S NOT there. To enable it, take a picture, go to the album, select the picture, hit share, at the bottom click screen mirroring. Way to go Samsung and Sprint. I'm pretty sure that this is either the result of the last update or Sprint.

Loosing Antenna , flashing screen and restarting

Hi there

I've faced a problem since. I lose my antenna signal (on both 3g & 2g or auto connect) frequently, then when antenna signal bars return, suddenly screen flashes to black and back then I lose antenna bars again. and this happens for a while till it gets restart almost every time this happens.

I see multiple wired things also; while screen flashes,
sometimes some apps would stop working like instagram, battery docter, goole & google gesture and ...
sometimes i see a notification stating my sd card is damaged and needs format! (some times sd card is empty!)
and like that...

while restarting when samsung logo or even note 8 logo comes up, I see these flashing screen continus

I guess these happens while I am at areas with not very satisfying signals, although I had this problem while I had no sim card in it too!
what is wrong guys?

Random screen touching navigation buttons

Hey guys,

I've recently bought a z3c and so far I'm happy with it. Got this issue though. Sometimes when I'm browsing web, replying to a text or doing something else, the phone closes everything or opens the recent apps tab by itself, as if I clicked on the home button or the tabs button. This is pretty annoying when I'm in a hurry to do something, because it makes me have to open everything again. Doesn't happen everytime I use the phone though, just sometimes.

Has anyone got this issue also? Would it be a software issue or a touchscreen issue?

Any help would be appreciated.
