Does not work with 2nd Generation Chromecast (cast screen option)

Got this phone today, and absolutely loving it. Since I don't use Android Pay it's not a big issue, though yes cast screen option does NOT work with the 2nd gen Chromecast, when I tried, it connected but then the chromecast just freezes, then disconnects after 20 secs. However, the cast screen option works with the 1st gen chromecast (I have both versions) so be warned, Google may do an update, but I'm not sure, but for those that plan to use this phone to cast screen (other options like casting youtube and such works), do NOT get the 2nd gen version of chromecast that just came out, get the 1st gen instead. Yes I turned off power saving option, and my Note 3 works on both when it comes to cast screen.

Smartswitch Option Missing?

I've recently been experiencing some very power battery life, losing like 11% during the night without touching the phone, so I have looking for solutions and none of them are working, I installed Gsam and it shows that "WIFI Active" drains a lot of battery and my device is held awake for like 1hr25mins through the night, that is without touching it in 4hrs. Tell me if this is normal or i'm just freaking out but I feel like it shouldn't be held awake for that long. Anyway I used to get pretty good battery life like 1 day and around 5hrs SOT, with some optimizations managed to get 9hrs of SOT with just less than a day of battery life,... but after the recent two updates U2COIK and now U3QOJ5, things have been really bad. Now since I saw WIFI sucking the most I decided to change some settings, but noticed something weird with this build I can't find "SmartSwitch" setting under WIFI like I had before, which has led me to think that it might be on by default and sucking my battery... does anyway with the build i have still have the SmartSwitch feature?? And any help with regaining my good battery life would be much appreciated, just not yet ready to trip my Knox.

on my Galaxy S6 i have the option, when i open a pdf (for example) it ask once only or always. But on my Note 5 i dont the option. Does anybody a idea, how i get the option on note 5?

Software update option missing

Hi i just bought an htc 820u and i went into settings > about and there is no software update option present there. Apparently phones bought from china dont have the software update option as i confirmed while talking with someone on htc website. My question would be how should i proceed to update to lollipop in that case? Should i flash a new rom? If yes can anyone give me a step by step tutorial please? Im used to flashing samsung roms but when it comes to htc i dont know anything.

Null IMEI, No Common Option on Service Mode: Can't Turn on WiFi and No Signal

I had my phone rooted, but recently messaging service stopped working and I also discovered phone calls were not going through. I unrooted it and now I have an empty efs folder and no IMEI or it shows it is null. I've tried the *#197... to get to Service Mode but the FTM option doesn't exist.

Also tried the bin fix with Odin and now I can't turn on WiFi either.

Rom that will make camera RAW files option works in S5 using camera fv-5

Hi, I am new here. Can someone point me to a working rom that can work with RAW files options with camera fv-5 app? I am a photographer and would like to use my phone as a back up just in case. But wanted the raw files instead of jpg. I am rooted using 5.1.1, g900w8.
