Are Replacement tablets actually refurbished ones ?

Hi,

I booted up my replacement table only to find that its not asking for the usual setup details. Strange right ? . On the home screen there is already an user account with the name "Jhdudi" , however there is no Google account or any other accounts associated with the tablet. I live in India and the I got the package well packet with all the original tablet packing and accessories.

This makes me wonder if Nvidia is actually sending out refurbished tablets as replacements. I would like to know if anyone else face the same issue.
