Need Help.

Hey guys
I really need Help of you people,,,to root my htc desire 516 phone.
i have try each and every trick avilable on xda or on net.

First thing
In which Mode i have to connect my phone.
FIRST THING....
MTP.
mount sd card.
charging.
SECOND THING...
my devic is not recorgnized by HTC sync..
but its recogrinzed by pc..
Third THING.
in Adb run it shows Waiting for device..
GUys For god sake....plsz reply here u people are great n i know i am noob here..
