can google 60W usb C charger charge my nexus 6p?

it is all in the title .


is it safe to use google 60W usb C charger to charge my nexus 6p?

it will be great to use the same charger for both my macbook 12 and nexus 6p

FYI i checked in google store for the specifications, this is the DC output for the 60W charger :

Ruined my phone can't go into bootloader or recovery, wont even charge.

I got a phone from a family member that was a at&t note 2, it was freezing while charging and wasn't turning on. So I downloaded odin and OS for it knowing that that would probably fix it(but i could still go into recovery and the mode to use odin[drawing a blank on the name]), so I unpacked the zip file with the OS, downloaded the drivers, but with the new odin update they put two letter words and i didn;t know witch was witch until it was too late, i picked bootloader instead of PDA). and it failed installing like it would because i picked the wrong one. Now the phone won't even charge, or connect to the laptop or turn on. Is there anything i can do or is the phone SOL?

Slow charge problem

Hello, I have the problem that no matter which charger / charge cable ,the phone takes at least 3 hours to charge 0% -> 100%, the battery once charged gives me life 3-4hs sot (screen on time). Thanks

Newbie Question - Does Rapid/Quick Charge technology only work when the phone is on?

On all my previous phones, I used to turn the phone completely off when charging.

Did the same for my first 5x charge up, but noticed after 20 minutes in phone-off-charging-state when I checked the white battery icon, it wasn't showing it was filled up at all. Strange.

So I turn the phone on, it shows it's charging, but only got to 5% from a completely drained battery.

This didn't seem right, so I left the phone on for 20 more minutes where it specifically stated "rapid charging". It shot from 5% -> 31%. Let it keep doing it's thing and 20 minutes later it went from 31% -> 75% with an estimated 23 minutes left. Impressive if it really would go from 5% -> 100% in about an hour.

So, does rapid charging only initiate with the phone on? Or, is that first 5% just a natural long charge area of the battery and the phone woulda hit high-gear-rapid-charging if I left it off the whole time?

I have my Desire 510 plugged into a wall outlet and I keep getting the message "Unable to charge your phone because it is using too much power. To fix this problem, reduce power consumption by turning off your phone, closing any apps you aren't using or turning off the screen"....I am rooted, have TWRP installed and a custom ROM. (Raptor ROM v1 since v2 link asks for a decryption code)...I have turned on Power Saver, Mobile data and bluetooth are disabled. The phone is losing battery power even while plugged in. I have tried 3 different chargers and outlets

How does Huawei charge ??

I have a question for anyone who purchased from Huawei. When you purchase the devices are you charged then? or once the phone ships? Or do you get an authorization charged which is then refunded and your card is then charged when the phone ships

Motorola Moto G Will not charge?

Basically i'm creating this thread because im looking for advice here, i have a moto g (cannot remember the number atm will update with this when im with the device again), its the first variant of the moto g that was 4g capable though. it died yesterday and when i tried to charge it the notification light flashes for a few seconds, followed by the screen turning on for few seconds. after this the screen switches on and repeats. The device did not charge when left for a few hours like this and refuses to even light up anything while it isnt connected to a charger. putting it in to recovery mode hasn't allowed me to do much either but for the most part the statuses it gives state that the battery is functioning so the battery should be ok? Any suggestions for solutions would be absolutely welcome

[HELP] Phone won't charge.

First it stopped fast charging. I then later it would only charge sometimes and then accidentally dropped it and now it wont charge at all. I don't know what to do. I tried another note 4 charger and it won't charge on that either. I just got the phone last Feb and it broke already? Is there anything to try before I take it somewhere to be fixed?

Tried 2 note 4 fast chargers.
When the phone is off it sits on the screen with the battery and the thunderbolt but never charges or shows a charge %.

Please help. The phone is in a pelican case. It doesn't look damaged from the outside but I don't know about the inside.

Edit: As soon as I posted this I tried again and it charged with fast charger. I don't understand what is going on.

Gear v700 charge show but not start when unplug charger

Guys.. Help me... 1 week ago.. I try to start my gear v700 tizen3.0mod .. But it won't be start.. I think its discharge and then i pluged to charging its start and show 100% charge.. I was shocked on that time then i unpluged its turn off... Then i try to start it press bottom million time but ut won't be start... Again plug-in charging start... !! not showing any bettry logo its just start and on the top of screen start menu show 100% and i plug to my pc. Fast Charge Not Working With 2.0 Fast Charger Power Banks

I have the below Power Banks and have been unable to establish a Fast Charge on my Edge Plus. I originally bought the Power Banks for my regular S6 Edge and they both worked with no problem.

I am lost to what the issue could be

MTK9586 phone, charge port physically broken & Encryption Error can't factory reset.

It all started with a random "Encryption Unsuccessful" error, and an attempt to factory reset. The phone won't boot and since the charging port is broken I can't use "Fastboot" or "ADB" which are both on my phone.

I've tried finding a replacement port, and don't even know where to begin. The board looks nothing like an actual Galaxy Mega on the inside. I'm not sure if there's a standard port I could try to solder. For the past 6 months or so I've just been using a battery charger.

I've tried finding the proper ROM and installing it from the SD card, only to get "Installation Aborted." error.
The ROM I tried to install was the MTK6589 ROM from this forum post http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2594101

I love the phone, been using it for over a year now with no problems. If anyone has advice on how I can solve either of these issues I would be extremely grateful.
