Huawei Ascend Mate, Boot Looping, I Think...

So a couple of days ago I dropped my phone (Huawei Ascend Mate (MT1-U06)) ... no harm done, I've dropped my phone plenty of times and it was fine but this time it turned off. Originally I though I broke it, I go to turn it on and it just keep restarting, turns out it's 'Boot Looping'.... I think. I've searched online and I was told to hold down all 3 buttons and enter go recovery mode and put SD card in with some software. Not really sure what the software is, but I bought an SD card and an SD card reader and I'm ready to fix the device!

Just to see what would happen, I went into Recovery mode and it said this:

USB Update Enter...
HUAWEI SDCARD&USB UPDATE AGENT VERSION 2.0
This phone is secureboot phone.
This phone is LOCK state.

Any help?

HELP ME NOTIFI HUAWEI ABOUT STATUSBARS and Lockscreens on Huawei P8

So I'm bothered by one of the decisions that Huawei made while making this awesome phone.

I'll try to explains the most important thing the statusbar or notificationbar. It is translucent or tranparent when on the home screen or lockscreen.

This is what I've sent them on the feedback site, no reply though.

I have a few things I really want to see getting improved/fixed for my Huawei P8:

1: The camera when in picture mode is slightly slower than the camera in video mode.

2: The Phone gets really hot.

3: More GOOD updates

4: Make the statusbar "translucent" instead of a blurry version of the background it looks a lot better. You know like in the update app.

5: The app(s) (like) spotify (a music player) do not display on the lockscreen so when I want to skip a song or pauze I have to unlock the phone.

6: When I select a theme that is not magazine (default theme) I can't see notifications on the lockscreen as I nomally would.
For example: magazine (default) theme - lockscreen: Whatsapp 1 unread message

A diffrent theme (pre installed) -
lockscreen: <nothing>

7: This one is simple. Please enable the option to pull down notificationbar when in lockscreen.

8. There's this bug sometimes my audio stops working and I have to open random apps to get is to work again or sometimes I even have to restart my phone.

Custom ROM for Huawei Ascend G740

I just got a Huawei Ascend G740 and am looking to install a custom ROM on it.
I've been searching on Google for a while but haven't found any webpage I trust enough to download files from.

Can anyone recommend a custom ROM for this device?
I'm open to suggestions to what this contains as long as it results in a better device than a standard G740.

Hi Team,

I am using hono6 L04 H60. I had rooted my phone and unlocked the bootloader using the steps mentioned in the earlier posts. I am not able to get OTA nor update to the latest version of OS.

Can I please request a step by step guide to relock the bootloader and set the phone on the original ROM. I want to reset the phone to the original status. Considering I'm an amateur in software coding, please let me know the actual steps to set my phone to how it was when I bought it. Please help.

[HELP] All ROM installation faild on HUAWEI P8

Hello,
I tried to clean branding on my Huawei P8 with the method presented in the forum but it didn'nt work (with a new ROM b170) i had an error message after each installation.
the phone works but now I cannot change the mobile network parameters, and each time I select the menu the operator name desappear during 2s and the menu is not displayed (I cannot select 4g, 3g and 2g)
I tried to reinstall an official ROM B132 from huawei site but it's always in failure and it seem failed in EMUI restoration (failure start at 75% of the update). the update partially worked, i switched on the ROM B132 but I had an error message and the mobile network menu doesn't work , and the reset phone paramaters is in failure as on the B170 rom.
Some one have a solution to restore the EMUI part or the fully phone?

How does Huawei charge ??

I have a question for anyone who purchased from Huawei. When you purchase the devices are you charged then? or once the phone ships? Or do you get an authorization charged which is then refunded and your card is then charged when the phone ships

Huawei watch won't get past spinning color boot screen

Watch was working great for a month, until this evening. Went to charge it, kept getting the white "Sorry, Android Wear has stopped" message. Pressed and held side button (while on charging dock) to reboot. Now it won't get past spinning color screen (After the Huawei brand screen). Is there a way to factory reset it while booting?

Is Huawei watch made by Motorola?

Hi, Im really hoping someone can help me.
I updated my Huawei, it had some problems. So I was playing around with the Rom toolbox app and bricked it (I think) It brings up a screen that says " FASTBOOT&RESCUE MODE. Please connect Usb cable to your computer and open Hisuite. More information: http :// zh.ui.vmall.com/ emotiondownload.php? mod+restore " Underneath is the android guy and under that it says "phone locked" The website is of no help as it does not list my phone model. No matter what combination of keys I use I don't get anywhere. Abd on cmd doesn't read my phone. Please help! :crying:

6P from Google Play Store vs from Huawei store?

Is there any difference between the phone offered on Google Play Store and http://www.gethuawei.com/nexus6p ? I mean in receiving updates or something? The last Nexus I had was the GNex and as far as I remember the one from Google Play Store was Takju and that got the updates first. Now with the talk about bootloader unlocking and all of that, I'm curious to know if there's any difference? Specially with the 5X having 3 different factory images released.

[Request] HUAWEI GPLAY MINI/ HONOR 4C (CHC-01) Roms

Hello, guys. Newbie here. I just bought a few weeks ago a Huawei Gplay Mini (chc-01) with the ideea to install a custom rom and use it day by day. But, suprise, my favorite place with custom roms, xda, don't have anything for my phone. The phone is very good for the his price.. But i like to try some custom roms, but no one is developing one :(. Can anyone help me? Maybe the moderators can make a special category for this.. I don't like the roms made my huawei, but the phones are good and cheap. I had a huawei, and after that samsaung s3 + s4, and now again to huawei. The samsung phones are broking too easy. So anyone can help me with a custom rom light (maybe clean android) and maybe a special category for the phone? I know they are many guys who owns the phone, so xda please, do something. Have the Huawei Watch maybe want to get 360 2nd gen instead?

I currently have the Huawei watch. Yes it is beautiful and really a nice watch. And of course no flat tire. But one thing that bothers me is its almost too good looking. Its like you would wear it with a suit and not casual wear. The Moto 360 2 seems much more casual looking. I paid 0 for the Huawei I can get the Moto 3360 2 with the cognac leather for 0. Am I nuts here should I just keep the Huawei or go for the moto? The other thing is the silver on the hauawei is so shinny it just glares silver. Where it looks like the Moto silver is much more toned down.
