Htc m7 camera focusing problems.

Hi, got my m7 for two two years now. A few months ago the camera seems to have some problems in focusing. Very often, half of the picture seems blur. I'm made sure the lens is clean. Anyone got the same problem?

Hey guys , i have galaxy s3 neo i9301l and i wanted to reset it but after that was waiting the device startup but its stuck on samsung logo . i tried to flash it by using odin by a rom from sammobile .the phone flashed but the camera isn't working , when i try to open it i get this warning : " server error occurred .restart camera ". i cleared the data and cache but still the same problem . i tried to flash it with many snother roms from sammobile but the same problem
i hope guys can help me

Back Camera Selfie.

I am looking for an app for taking selfies with back camera.
So far i did try;

Camera night mode ?

Was watching the Oppo pure image video preloaded in the phone and noticed there is a camera night mode called colourful night but I can't find it. I'm on the latest colouros so not sure it was removed??

Anyone confirm this option is there? It's mentioned in reviews as well ....

Hi guys androidexpert35 is back! Just some days ago i read all the brand new features of google camera v3.0 and today i extracted and deodexed the Google camera app from The latest nexus 5X Factory image and i also recompiled it byy allowing you to install the app on every android from 5.0+!



OK SO WHAT'S NEW IN GOOGLE CAMERA V3.0?

- Version 3.0 of the Google Camera is able to detect dirty lenses, which should allow users to receive an alert notification when they have a camera lens that is less than pristine in the cleanliness department.

- HDR+ mode that Google brought to the camera back when they launched the Nexus 5 in 2013, so users who want the app to decide when it’s best to use HDR+ can let go of any decision making here. This doesn’t mean users will be left without the capability to enable or disable the function as that will of course still be included.

- Google has also made some changes to the interface of the camera app, and now users can easily swipe from the right edge inward to switch from photos to video, and initiating the same swipe back the other direction will transition things back to photos

- Improved Camera2 API and introduced a new feature called Slow Motion Video where users have the option to record at either 120fps or 240fps.



HOW TO INSTALL

- Download the flashable zip
- Flash it Through recovery
- Wipe Cache only ( dalvik wiping not needed)

- The Flashable zip will remove every previous Google camera app installed to make a clean installation!

- The odexed app file was tested and working on nexus 6 and and 9 Running latest android 6.0 so i think that the app must work with that devices.

- To allow users to install the app on android 5.0/5.1.1 i decompiled the app with latest apktool and i modded the minRequiredSDK by setting SDK21 instead of SDK23. So Probably on lollipop this app can't work perfectly, can have bugs or also can't be installed.

- Obviously as i said before is highly suggested to install on evry 6.0 ROM becouse i am not sure that will work on 5.0/5.1.1.

- The apk was extracted from latest nexus 5X factory image and deodexed by me!

Google camera vs stock one

Hi, do you notice difference in quality tacking landscape pics with Google camera than the stock ?

For me it seem to be more focused with the moto app than Google even with the touch to focus.. I see this in zooming into the pics...

And for me it seem that the Google camera uses more battery...

What are your feeling ???

Why does my camera play videos in portrait when I record in landscape?

I'm on the SM-N910V Retail, or the Verizon Galaxy Note 4 Retail. I'm on Lollipop 5.0.1. When I use the camera app to take a video, I record in Landscape (phone tilted on its side), but when I transfer my video to my Windows 10 PC (same problem on Windows 7 prior to upgrade), my video plays in Portrait, and not only that, the video is tilted 90 degrees. It's annoying. Back in Windows 7, IIRC, playing the video in Quicktime seemed to fix the problem, however Quicktime doesn't seem to play in Windows 10. If I Open With Quicktime, I see the first frame of the file and it appears frozen.

How can I fix this?

camera problem

Hello every one...
today I noticed some colorful lines in my camera ....and when I zoom in its really bad....I am on note 4 n910c ....almost no direct camera hit during my lifd:( and I am not sure if the problem is soft or hard
in the picture near the letter "i" you can see the problem
the picture is captured by my note 4 :(

5.0 Camera Failure

Running a non rooted 5.0 OTA, and the camera doesn't work across all camera apps. Don't know if this is a hardware or software issue.

Stock Camera on CM12.1

Is there any way to get stock or any better camera with updated drivers on CM 12.1 based ROMs because camera quality on CM is really pathetic and Camera is not fully functional like the features are in stock.
Anyone with proper guidance ?

Camera Burst Mode

Ive scoured the internet, reviews, etc...cant seem to find a direct answer on how it works.
Lack of Burst mode is the only thing that prevented me from getting nexus phone. I take too many burst shots to not miss moments of my kids, dogs, sports events, etc...

From what i can tell, it only takes 8 shots.....? Ive seen that 8 number around. Does it only take 8 and stops? Does it take as many as you hold the button and then shows you only the 8 it thinks are best? Can you get past that 8 number and take as many as you want so you can decide what to keep yourself? Do you have to review after each burst or can you take burst after burst in a high active moment and go back to review later?

(E5823) Problems with camera...

My Problem is, when i start the camera ive get a black screen.

If i make a hard reset, and after i make all settings, the camera ist working fine!
After some minutes, i dont know why, the phone is making an automatical restart. Then the camera dosnt work anymore. If i use apps like instagram or else, the camera works.
I have the problem with the firmware 32.0.A.4.11 and now with 32.0.A.5.32

It sucks. :)
Can someone help me? Any solutions?

Rear camera not workin

Ok guys, There are some threads with that same issue here, but none of them really have any kind of solution. My z2's rear camera stopped working out of nothing, no idea why. I did try to reset to factory config, and tried repairing the phone using that PC companon tool, but none of them helped. Im running on 5.1.1 Android, which is the latest version, and it is not rooted, the bootloader is locked, the phone is all "official", if that's the word for it. That phone already had this problem before, and I had it repaired at a technical support, they had the camera replaced, and it was fine. But 4 to 5 days after the repair, the camera started failing again. Anyone has any idea on what could be causing that issue? And how to solve it? Will I need to have the camera replaced again?

Moto X Play - Camera bug?

Hi,

I'm a new Moto X Play owner. and I've had a few instances of the camera not working. It opens fine, but when I take a picture, it will sometimes pop up a message saying "There has been an error - Camera needs to restart" (I translated this since my device is german). There was a camera app update today, but the error is still there.

is anyone else seeing this?

Guys, i see that many of you have more camera options in ur camera ui. But i cannot download any because it says samsung store not available in your region. same for theme store.... any other way i can get them? :( :(: good:

Camera Recording Vidoes Upside Down / Inverted.

When shooting using rear facing camera with the camera button on the right side, the video gets recorded upside down. (it displays/orients correctly on screen while recording)
When the video is played back on the phone, it orients correctly.
However, when you copy it to a computer OR play it via DLNA client (eg: TV), it appears upside-down/inverted.

The photo appear to be oriented just fine on both the phone and when viewed on a computer.

Also, while using barcode scanner app, the camera image appears inverted.
Bank of America - Check Deposit feature shows image correctly oriently.

Is this a software BUG that would be fixed? Or is my hardware faulty ?

It looks as if the sensors are stuck or broken........at times! -- I am hoping thats not the case.

no back camera, or it is inverted

My HTC camera is only showing the "selfie" camera
all other apps besides snapchat only show the front camera

On snapchat i can flip to the rear camera but it is all inverted.

So far i've rebooted, cleaned all apps running, force stopped all apps.
Cleaned camera and snapchat data/cache
Reset G-Sensor from HTC settings

Any ideas how to fix this, it literally only appeared today?

I've also rebooted into safe mode and tested the camera app and it makes no difference.

Only the top camera on the rear is working on snapchat
