USB Debugging Mode not working

Does anyone ever faced the issue of your USB Debugging Mode not working ?

Even though my 702L I can swipe to enable the USB Debugging Mode, it is not "persistent". Each time I went back to check the state of USB Debugging is always OFF ?

Videos recorded in landscape mode

I recorded a really important event yesterday, holding my camera horizontally with the top of the phone to the left, and I then transferred it to my PC and a flash drive. When I played it on my computer it is sideways. I tried to edit with Window Live Movie Maker but it won't play the MP4 format videos. Does anyone know why this happens, and what I can do to fix this? I know I am not supposed to be shooting videos vertically, they look terrible.
Any help would be very much appreciated!

Camera night mode ?

Was watching the Oppo pure image video preloaded in the phone and noticed there is a camera night mode called colourful night but I can't find it. I'm on the latest colouros so not sure it was removed??

Anyone confirm this option is there? It's mentioned in reviews as well ....

VRpano - how to view the "VRpano" photos in panoramic mode?

I just noticed that photos taken with the stock camera in pano mode do have that "VRpano" string in file names, but the stock Gallery app seems missing the option to display them in panoramic view. :confused: Got to install another viewer as a work around?

Is Priority Mode (Silence) gone in Android 6?

Was priority mode removed from Android 6? Anyone come up with a similar solution, Priority Mode worked well for me.

Phone keeps switching to Power Save Mode

I have no rules set for switching into power save modes, yet I keep finding my phone in power save mode with all the radios turned off. I'm using a case with a viewing window if that means anything. Anyone else having this issue?

Camera Burst Mode

Ive scoured the internet, reviews, etc...cant seem to find a direct answer on how it works.
Lack of Burst mode is the only thing that prevented me from getting nexus phone. I take too many burst shots to not miss moments of my kids, dogs, sports events, etc...

the 6p has a "smart burst now"

From what i can tell, it only takes 8 shots.....? Ive seen that 8 number around. Does it only take 8 and stops? Does it take as many as you hold the button and then shows you only the 8 it thinks are best? Can you get past that 8 number and take as many as you want so you can decide what to keep yourself? Do you have to review after each burst or can you take burst after burst in a high active moment and go back to review later?

Any one know?

Stuck in firmware upgrade mode S4 9505

Hallo to everybody!
Trying to downgrade to 4.4.3 from 5.0.1. with Odin 3.0.9
ROM was I9505XXUFNA1_I9505OXAFNA1_SER
Phone was rooted. Maybe i forgot to uncheck repartition, but i dont know for sure.
Cant enter factory reset mode with vol+ home power buttons. Asking for Kies recovery mode, which cant discover phone at all.
Ony download mode is working, but stops with "aboot.mbn" in Odin.
Please help.

Hi guys, so I'm a complete noob to all of this so please explain in full detail. So I was trying to root my phone so that i could get the latest 5.0 or 5.1 update for my galaxy s4 because since i have tmobile i'm only allowed to have 4.4.4. i was in the middle of the rooting process where my electricity goes out and it messes up the download. Now i'm at a screen where it says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again. So i download samsung kies for the first time and my phone won't even connect to Kies. please help asap.:crying:

[HELP] Bricked my phone while trying to root, can't load recovery only download mode

Hello there, I am very very new, so please forgive if I do a mistake.
So earlier today I was trying to root my S5(SM-G900H) and I was trying out this method: http://www.androidrootz.com/2014/04/...very-root.html
Everything was going smooth, Odin showed me the "PASS!" too, but when I pressed the volume up, home and power button keys together, nothing happened and the phone was on the download mode, it didn't do anything. So I took out the battery and rebooted, and it rebooted normally and I was able to use it again. I tried the same method at least 10 times more but always failed. Followed all steps except one, didn't uncheck the "Auto Reboot" box and the "F. Reset Time" simply because Odin didn't let me, the boxes were dim and the mouse didn't respond on hovering over them. So, now my mistake, I pressed start anyway and Odin got to the blue box saying "RESET" or something and my phone restarted and the "Samsung Galaxy S5" logo and the "Powered by android" logo screen came up and it has been stuck there forever. I tried getting it into recovery a lot of times but recovery just won't come however it does load the download mode, so I tried the same "[SM-G900*] CF-Auto-Root" method, only this time I used a version of Odin that let me uncheck all the boxes, I tried several times but it just got stuck on the download mode like it happened in the first method, I rebooted and still stuck on the black and white samsung screen, yes that's right, not even the boot up animation. PLEASE HELP PLEASE HELP. I'M DYING

USB host mode support?

Does anyone care to look into a patch or addition to the software or kernel to allow usb host support? I think that the hardware supports usb host, but the software removes compatibility because when I plug in a Playstation 3 controller it the 4 lights on the front flash, and it charges, but nothing happens on the the phone as well as when I plug in a usb flash drive or the otg cable itself the message for USB host mode does not pop up.. I have looked for a sulution for this but couldn't find one. Any help, or an answer to what this means would be great! :D

I have a clone high copy of galaxy a500f running on kitkat 4.4.4... I wanted to upgrade the firmware to lollipop but phone not booting into download mode (Odin mode) I tried it by keys trick and also command it to boot download mode via adb, but nothing is works.... Its boot simply and turn on to main screen.... Any other way to get into download mode????
My phone is mtk6582.

Chromecast Guest Mode and hidden netorks not working on LG G3

I have a LG G3 phone. I'm trying to use Guest mode but it doesn't work. Simply, the Cast icon does not appear in any app. Normal cast (when connected to the wifi network) works.

1) I tried everything the FAQ and the Troubleshooting said, including Factory reset, reboot, wifi and data settings

3) I investigated and found out this in not Chromecast bug but phone bug. In fact, Chromecast creates two wifi networks with hidden SSID which work as a beacon for the phone. You can't see them in wifi network list, but if you download wifi analyzer you can see them (I saw them with a Samsung Galaxy S4) with SSID '?', which means no SSID, and the MAC address following. Well, I installed wifi analyzer on the G3 and they don't appear in the list.So this means that LG G3 and G4 can't see networks with hidden SSID (whereas all other phones can), and this is the cause of the problem. The bug is several months old. Has anybody got a solution/suggestion?

Nexus 5 Stucked in Fastboot Mode

Hi,

I have a Nexus 5 (d820) stucked in fastboot mode.

After doing some research, I got the TWRP working as recovery.

When I try to wipe, or flash any rom, even the original ones, I got some errors regarding read-only partitions.

I can LOCK and UNLOCK the boot at will... I can access fastboot/adb, etc...

How can I be sure my memory is defective? (I know it is probably the problem)

Anyone tried to replace the memory? (No warranty anymore)

Not connecting to odin while on Downloading Mode in Galaxy s4 i9500 4.4.2

I have a serious problem with my galaxy S4 i9500 4.4.2 android running. I wanted to upgrade to lollipop and I have downloaded file and when I have kept my phone into Downloading Mode its not conneting or odin is not detecting and even Kies3 too. But its gets connected to pc when phone is ON . I have installed divers software.
I have CWM recovery mode
I have rooted my android 4.4.2
Last time used odin was while rooting and applying CWM recovery mod. Its been 10 months.
