Rear camera not workin

Ok guys, There are some threads with that same issue here, but none of them really have any kind of solution. My z2's rear camera stopped working out of nothing, no idea why. I did try to reset to factory config, and tried repairing the phone using that PC companon tool, but none of them helped. Im running on 5.1.1 Android, which is the latest version, and it is not rooted, the bootloader is locked, the phone is all "official", if that's the word for it. That phone already had this problem before, and I had it repaired at a technical support, they had the camera replaced, and it was fine. But 4 to 5 days after the repair, the camera started failing again. Anyone has any idea on what could be causing that issue? And how to solve it? Will I need to have the camera replaced again?

Rear camera-hardware detected, yet black image. Camera "bus" malfunctioning?

Half a year ago my girlfriend accidentally gave my Z3 Compact a rollercoaster ride in our washing machine (full tour). The screen broke, but it could turn on and everything looked fine (gave no errors) when connecting to HDMI.

Yesterday I received a replacement LCD, which gave it a new life. It seems that everything works except for the rear camera. When opening any camera-app, the HUD is visible, but image is black, and no error. If i switch to front camera, which works, and back to the rear camera, it shows a freezed image of the last image from the front camera.

I checked some debug-apps to see if it detects the camera-module, and it does. If it's connected, alle the specs of the camera is listed, and if disconnected, the module is not listed.

I then got a broken Z3 Compact from a friend, and I tested both rear camera modules in both phones. The modules are working in his phone, both doing the same black screen in mine.

I tried hard reset, PC Companion-repair, updates, clearing camera cache etc., but with no luck.

Do you have any suggestion to how I can fix this?
Do you know where on the motherboard I could look for dirt in relation to some "rear camera bus/chip"?

Replace rear camera with UVC webcam via OTG?

Hopefully this will be a quick yes or no. It's not a huge ordeal, I'm just more curious than anything.

In the original Nexus 7, you can make a change in a file (nvcamera.conf) to point to /dev/video0 to use a webcam instead of the rear camera. Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to do that on the FLO Nexus. Does anyone know if this is possible?

REAR Glass Tempered Glass Screen Protectors

So, with fantastic support from folks like @intelliARMOR here on XDA, perhaps we can get them to start looking at Tempered Glass Screen Protectors (TGSP's) for the REAR glass on the Nexus 6P.

I'll get some emails out to Skinomi and others to see if they would be interested in making one, while gorilla glass 4 is great and all, I'm sure some of the rest of you are as concerned as I am about the back glass, if not more so (always setting it down on the back).

Anyone else seen anything? I can get a list going of who's been contacted and replies, just give me a link and a name, or let me know you contacted them and their reply when they do.
