Is it just me - or does the Stock Camera app Suck?

The touch to take a photo is frustrating as hell when i'm used to tap-to-focus on targets rather than it immediately take a pic.

I've tried fiddling around but still no joy. Anyone know of a secret-squirrel setting someplace to turn that crap off?

anyone play music in their car with this and have it NOT suck?

Wondering if there's a secret. It's like everything below 200mhz has been removed, both through headphone jack and bluetooth.
