Missing: 'Services' under Android Accessibility settings?

Recently I installed an app that required me to enable a service in the "Android Accessibility settings". I then realized that on my JYHU the entire SERVICES (I am capitalizing SERVICES because it is capitalized in Android) menu is missing under Settings->Accessibility, only SYSTEM is there. Typically under Settings->Accessibility there is SERVICES such as Talkback, etc.

Can anyone check under Settings->Accessibility and tell me what sub-sections there are (i.e. SERVICES, SYSTEM)?

I am wondering if we have a crippled Android ROM where apps cannot add SERVICES, they are [intentionally] hidden somehow or if there is an app that is hiding them.
This is really hurting me as I cannot make certain apps behave properly without the accessibility settings.

I read in another thread that manufacturers (allegedly) do this sometimes on purpose (I think it was the Nook tablet).

VPN - us iOS settings under Android

Hey guys,

I fail at what seems to be a no brainer. I want to connect to the work VPN but I know only the iOS settings (colleague has it running). I have a username, password is generated by RSA token, group name, shared secret, server and a proxy. In iOS it works by creating a Cisco ipsec VPN, in android I tried the available VPN options but none worked. Android VPN just says connecting and then disconnected. Vpncilla instantly tells me id or password wrong, but the id is correct and the password created by the token, so it should be also correct. I found no place where I can set the proxy to automatic and enter a proxy server, is this the problem?

Can anyone help me?

Nexus 6 Marshmallow Stock Apps does not save settings

Got OTA for 6.0 on 22nd of October, device is very fast and smooth compared to lollipop but I have this weird issue. Apps such as Chrome, Camera, YouTube, Keep, Calendar and many more do not save any settings such as sign in info on chrome keep and calendar. youtube doesn't keep paired tv infos, camera after launch keep bringing the initial screen to choose between 4:3 or 16:9 and location. These problems occur once aday.

Changing DNS settings of data network (3G)

Hello,
Since Imgur.com is blocked in my country I'm trying to change the DNS settings of the data network (3G) and I've tried lots of apps already, but none of them worked.

1) Maybe a silly question but why is it so difficult to change the data network's DNS settings ? Aren't the DNS IP's written in some file ?
2) Is it possible to change the DNS to Google DNS without using an app and / or VPN ?
3) Which app would do the trick ? Any recommendations for the HTC One Max ?

I'm on Android 5.0.2 (NuSense6).

I can't delete APN settings

I'm having the weirdest issue where I can't delete extra APN settings. Normally I wouldn't care and just leave them but apparently there's an issue where extra settings will screw up the LTE cell connection on some ROMs. Every time I try it just bounces me back to the screen with the rest of them and the entry is still there.

If anyone has any ideas I'm all ears.

How to access phone settings ?

The notification bar only shows notifications and no settings that I can see. Am I missing something or the only way to do it is to create widget or shortcut ?

USB settings

Hi. I am trying to unlock more LTE basebands on my Meizu mx4 PRO, and early in the prosess i am getting stuck because i have to change the USB from AP to CP. And to do that i have to enter a hidden USB Settings menu, wich normally is a code *#0808# in the dailer, but not on meizu,
So is there somone out there that knows how to enter this menu on a Meizu phone?

HTC can't disable auto rotate, even when off in settings

Suddenly out of nowhere (only thing I've done is reinstall elementalx kernel with same settings) my phone autorotates everywhere, even lock and home screens, all 3 direction even.

Any ideas how I can figure out what's wrong?

Custom Remote not showing up in Quick Remote in quick settings (notification drawer)

As the title says, I am unable to get my custom (working in main app) universal remote to show up in the notification drawer quick settings. TV etc all show up but not universal.

Anyone know how to remedy this?

Also, can anyone try this on their phone and see if it affects everyone or just me?

What You Need :

• Root - To Install The Modded Settings .


• PC & APKTOOL Knowledge .

Info :
There are 2 versions, V1: Colored BG In Settings & In-Sections, V2: Only Colored BG In Settings & NO In-Sections Colored BG.
You Can Modify the color code from " primary_dark " to " accent " .

How To Theme :

• Decompile Settings.apk .


• Navigate To Settings/res/layout/dashboard_category.xml


• Check First Line, Make the android:background like this :
