Help! System hangs after screen off

I am using Note 3 SM-N900, 4.4.2 KK stock rom but rooted.

My phone frequently hangs when I press Power button to off screen or when its screen automatically off according to screen timeout period. I have to pull out battery or long press Power button in order to reboot. How can I fix it?

I found that battery drained so quickly when system hanged. If I leave it for an hour, battery turns zero. I assume CPU is over-processing at that time. The whole phone body is hotter. How can I debug it?

Phone just hangs up?

I dunno if it's AT&T or my phone. I sometimes have to redial a number 3 or 4 times before it'll go through. It often just hangs up before trying to dial. Anyone else experiencing this? It's been doing it for months really but lately it seems to be a dozen times a day. In different markets to (I travel from Pittsburgh to Columbus or Cleveland nearly every day).

[brick] Flashed incorrect ROM - hangs on sony logo

My biggest bonehead flashing error to date. I rooted, then flashed a ROM for Xperia "X10" mini rather than Xperia Mini (ST15i). Now it boots to the sony logo and hangs there.

Is there a solution to get back to stock?

Wifi setup screen hangs my tablet - Any ideas?

I have Hisense Sero 7 pro tablet for almost 2 years, and it has served me well until I recently gave it to my 2y daughter, and now it has started freezing :( I have tried reinstalling different ROMs versions (DOPA 4.4.4, 5.0, etc.) but it seems that stock ROM 4.3 is most stable one. I have also noticed that using the stock rom my Sero Pro freezes when I go to Wifi settings screen, or enter wifi password (for non-stock ROM I have not noticed any particular pattern/reason for freezing). Then the screen goes blank (sometimes light is working, sometimes not), and I need to hold power button for a few seconds for a complete shutdown and then I can turn it on.

Now I have watched a few movies from SD card using standard video player and it was working fine, so I believe this issue is isolated to wifi related activities only. Maybe someone had a similar problem (as I believe this is not limited to those particular tablets). Is there a way to fix it? Any ideas are welcome. Thanks!
