XT1548 Virgin Mobile

I have the virgin mobile variant of the moto g3.
I was able to unlock boot loader, install twrp, and flashed cm.
Everything went well, except I lost service. I restored my backup and all seemed good, but ended up phone calls were not working. Long story, but Ended up flashing factory image and everything is back up and normal. So at least we can always restore, that's good news!

Question is, has anyone else with virgin mobile flashed a ROM yet?

Xperia M2 lollipop mobile data issue.

Hi all,
Recently, I upgraded my M2 to 5.1 Lollipop and suddenly mobile data doesn't work for me at all. Could someone suggest why it's not working and why? I tried turning the phone off multiple times and many other methods but no luck. Respond ASAP please.

Mobile data not working

I am new in here!
I have just installed [ROM] [6.0.0] Android Marshmallow on Samsung SII Plus. Everything is working fine except of the Mobile Data.
I cannot manage to activate it, I did my best to check the settings and everything but it is now working.
For the installation of this ROM, I followed the steps mentioned in here:

New security function or bug from Sony Mobile

I test many of Sony XPERIA devices, probably i test all Sony XPERIA smartphones in last 4 years. I was never use MyXPERIA protection etc., but with new XPERIA Z5 family there is one big change and i dont see thread about it. So situation is:

- i am log to my Google account
- i don't activate MyXPERIA, it is turn off
- i make full wipe (thru settings or with Flashtool)

Problem is that after i run the phone and it boot up, it need connect to previous Google account which was in the phone. Without internet connection you are not able to run your Sony XPERIA Z5 (or Z5 Compact) after hard reset. There can be problem when you sell your smartphone to somebody else and you make hard reset. Than the new owner is unable to use pone without your Google. So good way is remove your Google account in settings and than you have to make Wipe. I check it on more phones and it is always same. And as i say, there is no My XPERIA protection. Is this new security solution or bug? Do you like it?

xperia transfer mobile - not working

I have bought the Zz and tryed to get sms from my old Xperia SP: And just cannot make it work. It makes no difference wheather I use PIN in NFC, the result is the same.

So where do I go wrong:
XPERIA SP:
I downloaded an installed the app from Google play. The firmware on SP in the stock 4.3 Android. The only option that this phone gives me in of sending data wirelessly to another device. So just what I need. I click to the screen where it want to know whether I want to use PIN of NFC.

XPERIA Z5
I launch the "app" from the settings and click that the other device in an Xperia (or android, it makes no difference, the result is the same). I click that I want to receive data wirelessly from the other device i get to the screen where I have to choose PIN of NFC.

Let's say I go with PIN. Xperia Z5 offers me a PIN code and I enter it in Xperia SP. When connection is made, Xperia Z5 asks me to "accept" the other device (don't know what the proper word is, I do not use English on any of my devices). I accept of course. The xperia SP informs me that that is all I have to do on this device and that I should choose what I want to sync from he list on the other device. And that is the problem. Xperia Z5 never loads the list. I cannot select anything, it is just loading with the red circle going around endlesly. I left it for over 20 minutes ones, just to make sure I am not to impatient but to no avail. It's the same with NFC.

What am I doing wrong?

Help to find paper for a research project on How people are filling mobile storage

Hello there,

I am working on a project for Advanced Operating Systems and I need to find a paper or a source that tells me about there things:

- How many users fill their storage and are out of storage
- How many users use SD cards
- How are they filling this storage or How is mobile storage is being filled ( e.g. ratios how much people store pictures, videos, games, apps etc. )

I am looking for a similar paper for about 2 weeks now but I just cant find anything useful. :( :confused:

XDA looks like a place that can help me on this or if there is any thread that talks about this it would be great to lead me there,

I have a nexus 4, I know it's not a very powerful device but with a 6mbps WiFi connection I can't navigate the site.
Using a desktop PC with the same connection all is perfect :(
So, is the problem related to my poor connection or not ?
By the way, I think the mobile version is heavy to load, isn't it ?

It's likely my luck that this may be posted somewhere within XDA but I wanted to let everybody know I found the fix for those of us who have Verizon Wireless HTC One M8 Android (and Windows) devices that there is a fix to enabling mobile data and MMS on their devices:

I don't take credit for this, I found this after spending four hours last night and early this morning chasing it. Help with t mobile note 4

I recently rooted my note 4 from T Mobile all was fine no errors. After that I decided to install twrp custom recovery installed fine no errors , but upon reboot my touch screen calibration is way off . So when I touch the screen the phone thinks I am touching about 1/4" below where I am actually touching . Anyway to fix this? thanks for the help

Lg optimus f7 (lg870) boost mobile bricked!

I have a LG OPTIMUS F7 from Boost mobile bricked it does not go out of the boot screen, is repeating and repeating. I have tried the LG support tool and LG Flash tool without succes. Do you have any link with the software? Or any guide of information to try unbrick it ? if you do please comment. I will appreciate that very much. I am like crazy trying to fix this phone

T Mobile not updating Windows 8.1 to Denim

I have a Lumia 635 I bought a year ago from Microsoft store for use with Tmobile. I bought it so that I could eventually upgrade to Win 10 mobile. TM has not and it looks like they will not release the final bits of Windows "Denim" to the consumers. Microsoft has already stated that if you don't have the 'Denim' update you will not be running Windows 10.

Is there a way to unlock the phone and get the updates directly from MS instead of TM? What will I loose?

Is it possible to load a rom from another manufacturer?
I'm looking out for an update kitkat->lollipot for my cherry phone.

Sprint S5 on boost mobile concern

Hello I have been curious to ask if it is safe to flash cyanogenmod or MOAR on this phone even though the ROMs where meant for the sprint s5 and while I do have the sprint s5, it is activated on boost mobile. I am afraid that if I flash the ROM it might cause a no service error on my phone or even worse so this is why I ask.

Refurbished LG G2 touch problem after update with lg mobile tool

So i bought this lg g2 with imei showing( D802 from UAE) .......didn't know it was refurbished a that moment so I used the LG TOOL that showed D802 .....after the update to lollipop there was :
-a touch screen problem ( i had to use usb otg )
-memory was 16 gb
-imei unknown
I opened the back cover .....and was surprised :eek: to see ls980 on three spots but couldn't get to the motherboard's back ( was afraid)
I KNEW than that it was refurbished so i tried flashing a kdz rom ( d802 one kitkat) with the lg flash tool 2014 .....so now i'm stuck with the kitkat rom of d802 with the three issues ( touch screen memory and imei ) ................after some research some of the forumers stated that in this case the solution would be to flash d802 rom ( which i already had ) and to flash the motherboard's kernel ( which is done via recovery (twrp or cwm ) so I tried autorec (d80/0/1/2 and ls980 ) but each time my phone got into fastboot .....using klstool I managed to get the d802 rom back but still same touch problem
please help me i'm getting really tired of this :crying: .......... :confused: what should I do : flash ls980 rom (i'm afraid to get locked sim since it's sprint rom ) and what kernel should i flash to get a least rid of the screen problem :(:(

installing custom recovery using mobile uncle tools?

hello all. i wanna ask a question, is it possible to install the custom recovery using the mobile uncle tools? instead of using the sp flash tool. as we know, we can root the phone by easily installing the supersu at playstore, and by doing that, we can also use the mobile uncle tools as well.
