Samsung Galaxy S6 — facebook contacts sync is missing

A week ago all of a sudden i cant seem to sync my fb to my s6 contacts, when i checked the fb app settings, if you keep scrolling down the facebook contacts sync is missing from the app. I'm using an s6 as well and its there and everything is working

G900A Unrooted: Error -505 Downloading Facebook Messenger Fail

No matter what I seem to do, i cannot successfully install Messenger. It downloads perfectly fine, but then it fails and gives me error -505. Cant find anything about an error -505. Cleared data on google play, uninstalled its updates, cleared whole phones cache, uninstalled previous version of messenger, restarted phone, and nothing will allow me to install it. Have 3GB of free space internal.

Help! No push notifications for Facebook

So I've had this problem for a couple of months. It's not ROM related, it's not even device related. I get no push notifications from Facebook at all. The only thing I get every once in a while from Facebook is birthday and event reminders. (Notifications from a web browser still works).

I have a Nexus 6, but I also have this issue on my Note Edge, my iPad and my MacBook. I get zero push notifications from Facebook. I double checked all of my settings on all of my devices, and everything for notifications are set to on. I even went through and disabled platforms to purge out all of the external apps using my Facebook account (Instagram, Spotify ect). Nothing seems to be working. It's annoying and I can't seem to find any information on the issue.

Has anyone had a similar issue? At this point, any possible fix to remedy the situation I will take!

Multiple bugs with truecaller, whatsapp and Facebook after lollipop update

After updating to lollipop with a factory reset I having lots of issues starting with truecaller as I turned off the caller ID for my phone contacts but the floating caller ID still treats my phone contacts as its an unknown number for example if my wife calls me the contact appears as my wife and the caller ID floats and the contact name is my wife, for whatsapp the notfications doesn't always come on time ad I open it and I find that there are multiple notfications and it didn't appear on the status bar although notfications are enabled as for Facebook when there is a notfication when I press on it Facebook doesn't open so I have to open it my self, tried clearing cash and data and reinstall but nothing helped, any idea what can be done here.

Facebook Messenger push notifications delayed

Hi guys,
So i use to have stock rom on my Moto G2 and Facebook Messenger worked for a few months and then one day the notifications started playing up. They always showed up 2 minutes later or they didn't show up at all until I pressed the power button. It was as if the notifications were stuck until i pushed the power button and they would all flow in at once. So I decided to root my phone and get a custom rom to try and fix this problem. I have been to no avail for the past 2 months and it is really pissing me off. :mad: I have switched between countless roms and none of them seem to tackle this bug! Any help would be so so appreciated!!!!!!!!!!! Thankyou in advance :o

Facebook Error -504

Hello everyone! :)

Im new in this forum and i got some issues when i try to install Facebook for android it says me an error code: -504.

My phone is S3 mini. I got this problem in my last custom rom CM 12.1 then i try with another rom: OmniRom 5.1.1 and i did all the wipes before install it, so im still have this problem when i try to install Facebook. :confused:

[Q] Modifying Facebook APK to allow contact syncing

I am wondering if there is a way to modify the Facebook APK to get contact sync working without modifying ContactProvider.apk as I am using a non rooted phone and don't want to root just for this. In the past I have used HaxSync but with the latest Facebook APIs that no longer works.

Is it simply a case of adding the WRITE_CONTACTS permission to the Facebook APK and if so is that (easily) possible?
