LOLLIPOP losing WIFI passwords (SOLVED)

After a lot of reading I decided to make this thread as an easy reference to an otherwise scattered/multi answered question across all android devices.

1.
a. (OPTIONAL) Backup your device to an alternative gmail account or service.
b. Go to Settings/General/Backup and Reset. UNCHECK Back up data to Google servers
c. Go to Google Dashboard and delete all backups under your Android device.
d. RESTART phone and then put your password in for the last time. CHECK/Enable Back up data to Google servers in phone settings.

2.
a. Open your file manager and look in build prop for this line: ro.securestorage.support=true and EDIT to show false
d. RESTART phone and then put your password in for the last time.

3.
a. With your file manager go to #root/data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf and delete any duplicate SSID's along with their settings.
b. RESTART phone and then put your password in for the last time.

THESE ARE ALL SEPARATE SOLUTIONS AND SHOULD BE TRIED INDIVIDUALLY SO THAT WE CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT WORKED FOR YOU. PLEASE POST YOUR RESULTS ALONG WITH ANY OTHER SOLUTIONS YOU HAVE FOUND SUCCESS WITH.

I KEEP losing my "clear all" recent apps (search bar too) - Is there a permanent fix?

My clear-all recents [X] keeps disappearing.....It starts with the search bar disappearing in the recents screen, then shortly after the [X] disappears.

I know there's a temporary fix for this by booting into safe mode and re-starting... But after 5 times in less than 4 weeks, this is getting old having to re-setup defaults, widgets, and Dropbox (a few other things too).

Does anybody know what is causing this or if there is a permanent fix I've overlooked?

UDP and jetpack? I know how to get around losing UDP

Have 5 moto x on family plan, and all UDP, so now there is this new . fee added to UDP, only added to out of contract lines, all lines up for upgrade, I know I can upgrade and as long as I don't activate on upgraded line still keep UDP, so going to upgrade all lines to get into new 2 year contracts so the new fee is not added for at least two years. don't need 5 lines, if I order the the jetpack on line one and stick the sim from line two in the jetpack will the jetpack work? thanks
