hi, i was asked by my uncle about his phone, JY-G3 which i assume it's MT6589. The phone was unable to power up, when it's charging it doesn't show any charging animation, but when i plugged it into Computer there's a respond, it shown as "USB Serial Device" in Windows 10 and "MTK USB Port" in Windows 7.
i've tried to flash the phone with SP Flash Tool, but sometimes it thrown an error (like Fail to Open Port), and sometimes the red bar is 100% but then it stopped without any error, the phone still dead..
any ideas about this problem of mine? thanks in advance!
