Hi there, I am having problems with my nexus 4. when i make a call sometimes.. i hear nothing, not the dial tone or the person on the other end, just silence. Restarting the phone seems to cure it, so i am having to restart phone quite a bit.
I did have my phone rooted and had a custom rom on it but for a while now i have been using the stock roms which i downloaded and upgraded when they become available over the air., on android 5.1.1 currently. I used the nexus root toolkit to root my phone by the way.
Do you think if i unrooted and completely wiped my phone and installed 5.1.1 again it would cure my phone of its problem, as it seems like a software issue more than a hardware one to me?
Does anyone know of the easiest way for me to unroot my nexus 4, wipe then install the stock 5.1.1 rom on it please?
