Getting Bcmon working?

I'm going to start out first by saying this:
FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE ONLY

Ok, now that's out of the way, I want to use bcmon to allow my Evo4G's Broadcom BCM4329 to enter monitor mode.
I have been trying a bunch of different ways to get it to work, but it simply won't.
They say it's confirmed working on CM7.2, so that's what I'm running.
After using the bcmon app my wireless get "error" while turning on and using any of the tools in the bcmon app causes it to force close.

My Evo 4G is running:
Radio-2.15.00.12.19 and PRI-2.33
S-Off HTC Unlocked.
CM 7.2 stable
Mason G - v0.14 nosbc fso kernel (stock CM7.2 kernel won't mount /sdcard/.

Could anyone help be figure out how to get this working?
