Add Straight Talk (Verizon Wireless towers) APN to Verizon variant HTC One M8

I have a HTC One M8 (Android) rooted, S-Off, and currently running the ViperOne Rom. It is a Verizon Wireless variant M8; I want to run it on Straight Talk (Verizon Wireless towers)...not AT&T and/or T-Mobile. Okay...I go to Settings >> Mobile Data >> Network Settings >> CDMA Options >> Access point names >> and there are 9 different variations of Verizon mobile data APNs; the main one branded Verizon sim cards use is at the very top "Verizon Internet >> VZWINTERNET. Everybody I have talked to thus far says, I edit this setting to reflect Straight Talk but the only thing that is not grayed out is "VZWINTERNET" and I change that to "tfdata" (no quotes). Result: No data! So, I return to Network Settings >> (go to) Network Preference List where I'm greeted with 18 GSM/UMTS) names that include vodafone AL, ONEtouch, etc. I assume by looking at this list it is as what in parentheses implies; GSM/UMTS networks. I have gone to the upper right hand corner of the Network preference List and all it says is "Add" and "Edit", I click on "Add" and then I'm greeted with "Network Code" and "Operator List". When I went to the Network Code it asks for the MCCMNC format which for Straight Talk is 310410, click "OK" and I'm now greeted by "Add Network" and GSM, UMTS, GSM/UMTS, LTE, GSM/UMTS/LTE which the latter is what I set. I'm returned to the Network preference List and nothing has been added. When I return to "Add" or "Edit", Click on "Add" and then "Operator List"...oh dear God, the mother of all APN lists with multiple T-Mobile, AT&T, vodafone to select from but no Straight Talk nor Tracfone nor Net10...no American Movil. I'm guessing these are not CDMA but "Global" GSM providers. I'm at wits end with this. Frankly, I'm sick of the caveats that come with owning Verizon Wireless compatible devices. I just bought this HTC One M8 Android and again another aggravation to cope with; I can live without MMS, I can't live without mobile data. I was trying to save on our monthly bill with Straight Talk which we've used now for five years with the AT&T towers; where we've moved to, we barely have an AT& signal but we do have three to four bars over on Verizon Wireless but we did not want to have to pay the plus for smart phone access for comparable service which we pay .50....98 including taxes per line. I didn't expect this much aggravation with all of this. I'd sincerely appreciate whether this is common to this particular variant or would it help to flash ARHD43 or GPE onto the device or is this something that is hardware encoded or provisioned by whatever SIM card goes into the device; thanks everybody!
