Hello everybody!(pls read the whole thread)As the title suggests,could anyone port the Sony what's new app and calendar.I tried myself but I'm missing many libs to make them function properly without any FCs.Or,if that's too big a demand,could anybody just tell me what to include in my port to make them function properly?Also,does anyone know how to fix the Z5 download music Info security error?I'm trying Stryflex LP for Xperia L and it works fine.But when porting it using @Jozinek's system dump I got the security error.HELP PLEASE!!!!I BEG!!!!

Small waterproofing ruber piece fron the USB Port

Hello, there is a small rubber part that fallen from my ZU's USB port. I believe it is a waterproofing part.
Has it happened to anyone else? How can I put it back? I've tried to insert in back but its doesn't stays in place no matter how I put it, was it originally glued?

USB Charging Port Malfunctioning

My USB charging port is acting up recently. It's very finicky.

Just last few days, I cannot get "Fast Charging". It just shows regular cable charging.

I've tried:
(1) Firmware Factory Reset
(2) Tried different USB cable aside from the OEM
(3) Tried different wall adapter aside from the OEM
(4) Making sure USB cable is pushed all the way in.
(5) Tried using different wall outlets

I have had this phone for a little over a month.

Anyone else having this charging issue, and found a resolution?

Hi guys, I'm trying to port Xperia build 10.6.A.0.454 to Nexus 4. Of course I will port the custimized firmware from Xperia Z - eXistenZ Y

I've removed many apps and some dictionary files as our system partition are small

I did alot of changes for kernel hack and selinux hack and finally got it booting. Video proofs everything:



Why port from Xperia Z? Because Xperia Z have the same board with us, msm8960. With this common characteristic, I've got the display working although there're some graphical glitches

Is it possible to install Stock Rom despite a broken USB port?

Hi everyone,

I have the following problem:
The USB port of my Galaxy S4 Mini (GT-I9195), on which I have installed CyanogenMod 11 and CWM Recovery, is broken. The mobile phone can't be charged or connected to the PC. A defective battery or cable can be ruled out. Now I would like to reset the device back to its original state in order to get it repaired, because the warranty is still valid.

I've already unrooted the phone and the Flash Counter is set to 0, so only the Stock Rom needs to be installed, I think? However, I do not know how to do this, I can not use Odin because of the broken USB port and Mobile Odin is not yet compatible with the model as far as I know.

Is there a solution to this problem? Perhaps a compatible alternative to Mobile Odin or a Stock Rom that you can install via CWM?

So thanks to the note 5 port (with shinto kernel), my note 3 feels like a new device. Literally everything works, except gear 2 (is not syncing notifications). Did anyone figured out a workaround? Perhaps someone can post titanium backup of gear manager from latest t mobile stock lolipop? Thanks

Can anyone port the S6edge+/Note 5 camera app?

I have noticed that the Note 5 and S6edge+ has the same camera sensor as our beloved s6, but we lack a few options that the bigger devices have, like RAW file selection instead of JPEG and also the shutter speed control.
Can anyone port this to our Galaxy S6?
Should not be that hard?

MTK9586 phone, charge port physically broken & Encryption Error can't factory reset.

It all started with a random "Encryption Unsuccessful" error, and an attempt to factory reset. The phone won't boot and since the charging port is broken I can't use "Fastboot" or "ADB" which are both on my phone.

I've tried finding a replacement port, and don't even know where to begin. The board looks nothing like an actual Galaxy Mega on the inside. I'm not sure if there's a standard port I could try to solder. For the past 6 months or so I've just been using a battery charger.

I've tried finding the proper ROM and installing it from the SD card, only to get "Installation Aborted." error.
The ROM I tried to install was the MTK6589 ROM from this forum post http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2594101

I love the phone, been using it for over a year now with no problems. If anyone has advice on how I can solve either of these issues I would be extremely grateful.

can't boot to recovery, bad USB port

Hi, simple quick question.

Have a bad USB port, so any hope of Odin or any PC help is out of the picture. I had the phone rooted with towelroot and twrp(terminal emulator method). Switched to a version of cwm(not the latest and can't remember the version) couldnt flash the philz or cwm recovery zips.

Tried the terminal emulator method again, found a different guide and the recovery boots to download mode. As well as the power on button only.

Is there chance of recovery or complete reset??, at this point the phone has been off for at least two hours.

is there any chance to port setting camera from LG v10 to LG G4. ?

as in title. any ideas of that features ? what do I mean > checkout what can you set manualy in LG V10 when you set Camera -> settings. there is a lots of option which no appears in LG G4.. P.S. (soory for my english.}:p
