I purchased the Zenfone 2, and had my Zenfone 2e laying around so I began to play. Here's my find. I downloaded firmware for the ZE500CL from Asus and flashed over At&t stock firmware. And to my excitement I now have a stock Zenfone 2e running stock Asus firmware. Here's what I did. Did a factory reset. Then rooted using the one click method. Rebooted and ran through the phone setup, upgraded SuperSu. Then I downloaded root one click method with CWM tethered recovery. Googled "Asus Zenfone ZE500CL" and went to Asus page for phone, downloaded firmware 12.16.5.102. After all that I renamed file to update.zip, and copied to Root of internal SD card. Then I ran the one click root with CWM recovery, typed ACCEPT and did option T4. Once recovery booted installed the update from the update from SD card and selected the update.zip file. About 5 mins later update completed and I rebooted and up came the Asus splash and booted into stock Asus. Worked like a charm for me. I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY BAD FLASHING OR DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE. THIS WORKED FOR ME ON A COMPLETE STOCK AT&T DEVICE. GOOD LUCK.

Lg g2 d800 at&t help needed
So I have this lg g2 d800 at&t version using cloudy g2.2 . I had this 3g problem that my phone could only use 2g and would never connect to 3g network. Then i went to this Mobile mall and the person did some QCN stuff in my phone . Now iam able to use 3g BUT the 3g sometimes work and sometimes doesnt work (sometimes there are 2 arrows below H and 3g works BUT sometimes there is 1 arrow below H and 3g doesnt work). Any help please ???
Softbricked my AT&T Active trying to go from 4.4.2 rooted to 5.0.1 rooted.
I tried to update my old phone from 4.4.2 rooted to 5.0.1 and keep the root by having my cousin do it for me. Unfortunately, he used the guide on here for the normal S4 instead of the S4 Active, leaving me with a phone that says "System software not authorized by AT&T has been found on your phone" and "SECURE FAIL: KERNEL" in the corner. Google searches are fruitless. I have tried using this method, but upon starting ODIN I get this fail message and the following:
If anyone could help me make my old phone work again, it would be very appreciated.

AT&T Galaxy S6 128GB
I am wondering if the 128gb of the S6 (non-edge) from AT&T (without contract) is easily unlockable to be used in Europe.
Are there any issues with unlocking?

I have AT&T note 4 unlocked with kitkat on it, if i flash lollipop will it again get locked? plz help
Soft Bricked One M8 (AT&T)
I soft bricked my M8 a while back, and I'm stuck on Paranoid Android 4.5. I'd like to get on lollipop, but I don't know how to get lollipop without getting onto my stock firmware backup which got deleted when I soft bricked it. I've tried sunshine, but it says it needs a near stock sense rom, which I tried and it didn't work.
Got any ideas?

Unlocked AT&T G6 on T-Mobile
Hey folks, just wanted to know if any of you are using your unlocked AT&T G6 on T-Mobile and what your experience is like.
Additionally, if you're rooted, would flashing a T-Mobile modem work on a stock but rooted AT&T rom? Would it enhance network performance?
Thanks!

At&t Samsung Galaxy s6 edge
I am in india with an unlocked At&t galaxy s6 edge and after all the fuss about the update and many of my friends getting the 5.1.1 update I am still unable to get it. I mean I have constantly checked whether it was my network problem but that's not it neither is my WiFi connection bad. Besides the phone is getting very laggy all of a sudden. Don't know what to do. I even went to the Samsung showroom to see whether they could do something about it but those idiots here don't have the slightest idea what to do. If anyone out there has the same problem and have solved it please reply.

Receiving messages late / out of order on AT&T US
Just got a new z5c - I'm in the US on AT&T. This didn't seem to be a problem until last night, but now I'm having messages take between 5 minutes and 2 hours to come into my phone. People are still getting my sent messages instantly. Never experienced this problem on my old phone (2013 Moto X using same sim card), so I'm guessing it's not the carrier but the phone itself.
Also, restarting my phone seems to cause all the backed up messages to come in at once. Really annoying problem, wondering if anyone can help.
I switched my sim card back to my old phone and a bunch of messages came flooding in. Asked friends to test texting me with sim card in each phone - texts came instantly on old phone and way delayed on z5c. Already disabled iMessage. I've tried using Textra, the messenger app that comes with the phone, and Google messaging and all have the same outcome.

Guide to updating your H950 (US AT&T variant) to 5.1.1 via OTA
Hi, I just wanted to give everyone some information to updating to 5.1.1 as many of you are probably buying these due to the recent sales. If you don't want to root but wanted the 5.1.1 update through AT&T, here is the guide. You could also try rolling the date method but it did not work for me. I actually bought a bunch of these phones for friends and family, and I've updated five of them to 5.1.1 through AT&T OTA update, and this method is very time efficient ;)
Side note: if you have more than one G Flex2 that you are looking to update, you can update them all using just one sim and swapping them between phones.
Before you begin, do a factory reset under settings if you've already pressed software update and tried rolling the date a few times to get the update. Afterward, do not press software update until you are sure that the AT&T person has pushed the update.
Here are my steps (probably takes around 30 minutes):
1. Register for the gophone plan with the AT&T sim card and put the minimum credit into the plan. For the IMEI, put all zeroes in. This will allow you to select the monthly plan, which you ultimately won't be selecting but instead will select the 100mb daily package after your account and sim have been activated.
2. Turn the phone on with your newly activated gophone sim. TURN ON WIFI and keep it on WIFI until your update is downloaded, installed, and finished.
3. Directly call the gophone support line: 800.901.9878, and voice navigate your way to technical support (it's an automated system).
4. When the person picks up on customer service, ask them to put you through to advanced technical support, and if they ask what the call is for, tell them that you were disconnected while talking with an advanced technical support line as this will get you where you need to faster.
5. Ask the person on advanced technical support to push an update to your phone, and tell them that you've tried manually updating through the software update on your phone under settings numerous times. If they insist that they cannot push updates and you have to do it yourself on your phone, tell them that your friend has a G Flex2 with a gophone plan, and he/she was able to get the update pushed with a call to advanced technical support. If you think that the support person is being stubborn and not even attempting to try it, just hang up and try again.
6. Help the support person find the update that you are looking for by telling them the update is called H95011x. DO NOT get the H95011z beforehand, as it will not help you. Ask explicitly for the H95011x update. You can also read some more information from this page, which is the link to the page with the update information (edit: cannot post the link since I'm a newbie... Alternatively, you can find the software info page it if you type H95011x on google and look for the link to the site att.com)
7. Keep asking them to push update from their side, and you will know that they've pushed it when you go to the software update under settings on your phone and it says something different now. Instead of "look for update software" or something similar, it will now say, "continue with software update". When you press it, a notification will appear, saying "communication in progress". Tap on the button a few times to make sure that it keeps saying "communication in progress".
8. When you see "communication in progress", just leave the phone alone for the next hour or two, as the phone is downloading the update file without showing you any sort of progress bar. Keep the phone connected to wifi.
9. Come back and a notification will prompt you to install update and the phone will restart.
Hope this helps! I know that getting the AT&T OTA update can be a pain and I wished that I had some guide to follow when I was first trying to get the update.

FINALLY , AT&T LG Vigor D725 Stock KitKat 4.4.2 KDZ Firmware File
Hi everyone, I've been a longtime lurker here on XDA for anything and everything I've needed for my devices, but in the six-or-so years I've been on here, I've never had anything to contribute on my own for the community. Today, however, I'm stoked to say that for the small number of people that haven't given up on the LG G3 Vigor, I FINALLY was able to obtain a stock firmware 4.4.2 file in .KDZ format direct from LG.
I, like many others on here and other G3 communities, have struggled for the past few months in trying to keep this device stable, but apparently the Vigor (more so the D725 AT&T variant, since it seems the Sprint LS885 has a little more support, but still basically next to nothing at all for both) is a redheaded stepchild or something since no one I've seen on here has been able to offer anything other an a root method for it, however I can't help but think that was just dumb luck since that root method has been proven to work on to work on ALL the G3 variants. Anyway, after almost giving up on this device after six months of not being able to find a stock firmware ROM file for it, let alone any custom ROM, I tried calling LG as a last resort with not much hope. Lucky for me though, I got a super nice rep by the name of Rachel, who immediately understood what I was asking and e-mailed me a link to the only stock firmware file they have for it - a D725PR 4.4.2 firmware file in .KDZ format.
You may notice that the model number - D725PR - isn't either of the AT&T or Sprint models. It's actually for the LG G3 Beat that was released for Puerto Rico, but it is basically identical to the D725 and LS885 minus the carrier APN settings, and of course no AT&T or Sprint bloatware. Rachel was so confident that this file was what I needed, that she wanted me to flash it while on the phone with her, and if it didn't work and I ended up with a brick, she'd open a warranty ticket to replace it free of charge since my Vigor is still under warranty (as are almost all others I think, since the Vigor was released late 2014.) I used the LG Flash Tool under Windows 10 while on the phone with the rep the whole time, and sure enough, about six minutes and two reboots later, the device booted right up to the LG setup welcome screen. I was told that since the KDZ is technically for the Puerto Rico variant, I'd likely have to manually input AT&T's APN settings for data, but it configured itself and AT&T's APN profile in the mobile network/tethering menu was already in there. Now, my device is unlocked, so I don't know if maybe that's why it configured itself on its own, but if you flash this file to factory restore or downgrade, or remove root and find you don't have your carrier's APN profile in there, just do a Google search for the settings, and you should get your data back.
Sorry this post ended up being a novel, but I'm very happy that I finally managed to score this stock firmware file after LITERALLY six months of it sitting in a drawer, pulling it out every so often in hopes that somewhere online, someone posted the file to finally get everyone flashed back to stock, but nope. I don't see why this wouldn't work for anyone else with an AT&T or Sprint Vigor, but obviously I must say I can't be held responsible if, for whatever reason, something bad happens. I hope this was able to help at least SOMEONE other than myself, because like I said, I've been using this forum for the past six-or-so years to keep up with development and learn to root whatever new device I got, but never contributed myself. This community deserves it, because no one on here has to do what they do, yet they choose to do it all for free, as a public service or something, in order to help others have a better experience with their devices. And for that, I myself am forever grateful. I hope this helps - good luck! :)
