My sony z1 no sim card and no service, what a problem? I put sim card on other phone its can detect and have service..but my phone cant detect sim card..its a ic sim problem or waht? Please who have face this problem help me :(

HTC Connection Service

Ive been getting this HTC Connection Service is running icon on my notification bar lately
I cant seem to disable it for good and it pops back up a while later if i force stop it
It also doesnt go away if I disconnect it from usb from my computer either
Anyone know how to disable it or what it does?

A cousin's Micromax Unite 2 was recently upgraded to Lollipop and rooted. To save application space I tried to integrate the updated Play Services into system partition using Link2SD. But this caused the disappearance of Play Services from list of installed applications. I tried installing a version from another phone (which is actually KitKat 4.4.4) and that resulted in Play Services force closing and various applications including Play Store not opening.

Installing and integrating an .apk from apkmirror for Lollipop did not result in success. It still is not opening or force closes.

I understand that after Lollipop there are multiple versions of Play Services depending on individual phones.

Please suggest me the correct version for Micromax Unite 2 on Lollipop firmware.

Cell Service not working on upgrade

I recently purchased a Verizon Moto X Developer edition. It was on stock 4.4.4 and was unlocked. I mfastboot flashed the stock leak 5.1 for Verizon. The thing is that I do not get cell service. When I go to APN there is the same one listed a bunch of times. I cannot delete an of them. I think tried different things and got frustrated and mfastboot flashed all the files back to 4.4.4. Has anyone run into this or have any suggestions. Maybe I should not flash the modem files when I upgrade haven't tried that yet.

No Wifi - Cell service after trying new 5.0.2 Rom.

if I use a Rom for an incorrect model version, I lose Wifi and Cell service.
is there a way to repair the wifi and cell service on the new test rom?
if I return to my working backup stock rom, I do have working wifi and cell service.
I did backup my efs folder. I tried to manually copy and paste the files, I tried to restory only the EFS partition in TWRP from a working rom. none of those solve the issue.


is it possible to fix wifi - cell service on a rom with the wrong model number ?
for example, I use the Japanese softbank sm g925z model s6 edge phone.
the roms are from 925f or 920xx

After searching forever I can't find a modem that actually works with my phone. I do not get any cell service and the LTE doesn't work either. WIFI works fine but that it is. I try to input the APN manually but it still never connects to anything.

I've put other ROMs on my phone but I really want GPE since it has exactly what I want... All the others work fine with LTE/cell service but some have issues with WIFI or other features missing. I've fairly new to this so please excuse my ignorance.
