The early reports are showing only 3.5-4 hours of SOT. If so, this is shameful on a 3450mah battery. Can anyone say they have seen better than this?

Zenfone 5: Is it good to use with a 3rd party battery saving app?
I'm finding the battery life unsatisfactory. If I were to install a 3rd party battery saving app would it conflict with the Asus Android OS?
If not, are there any suggestions as to which is the best one to use?

battery replacement for N8000

sorry if this has been asked and answered i could not find it
i have a N8000 for around 3 yrs and now its taking too long to charge like 12hrs and still 80%
can we get these batters replaced if so how much would it cost and in India chennai the sam service is next to my house just wanted to confirm it is possible before visiting then thanks in advance :good::laugh:

Numbers in battery stats
I keep getting am entry in my battery stats labeled only as random numbers. I tried googling to find out what it meant but with no success. I just factory reset and still get this problem. Usually it will drain about 5% per day. Screen attached.
How long does your battery last?
I got a 2 year old HTC One M7, it is rooted, s-off and i use Hboot 1.57. It also got Google Plus+ Edition ROM with ElementalX kernel (thanks to the developers, and links is in the bottom of this post).
So the last days i have been trying to get the max out of my battery, so i do not need to charge my phone twice a day. And so far the result is good.
Today i really wanted to do a big test of my phone, i got it charged to 100% and downloaded some apps that tracks the battery. I did use my phone as regularly as possible, did check snapchat a couple of times, went on 9gag, Facebook and so on. I was home on my WiFi most of the time, but i was outside for about 2-3 hours and did make some calls to my friend on my little trip.
My governor is set to msm-dcvs, max CPU is 1350, screen off max CPU is 1026. I did also do some undervolting, and i can feel that the device keeps lower temperatures than before :D
So i took some print screens (bottom of this post). What do you think? Is this good or bad?
I would like to see other peoples battery stats, and i would like to see stats of a stock one. Post if you got any!

XT1032 5.1: Bluetooth drains battery?
Hi there!
Since the beginning of 2014 I have a XT1032 (Moto G 1st Gen non-LTE).
Until approx. two weeks ago it was running 5.0.2 with great battery life: max. 5 d standby with max. 5 h dot/sot.
Then 5.1 came ota, for which I was happily waiting since months.
But in the last two weeks I found that now my max. standby and dot/sot has been reduced by around 50 % with the same in-phone "devices" turned on as before.
The main power drainer now is - tadaaa - bluetooth, which before was turned on all the time, but used maybe some hours in 5 days when driving our car.
Today I unplugged the phone around 12:00 pm, activated bluetooth for max. 1 h driving around 01:00 pm, and now - at 01:30 am - bluetooth still is leading the power statistics with 3 % (battery now is at 85 %).
Any ideas how to fix this issue except doing a "hard reset"?
(If I should do one: how exactly? Via "backup & reset" -> "Factory data reset"? Or should I finally unlock it and install GPE 5.1 modified >= v1.4?)

[Q] Battery percentage sporatic while playing games
If I use my Samsung galaxy note 10.1 2014edition to watch videos, the battery life is amazing. I get like 15+hours stretched over multiple days watching TV shows downloaded onto the SD card.(i use MX Player)
BUT, within a few minutes of opening any kind of gaming app(MTG, Herostone, Autobattle, clash of clans....etc). the battery drop down into the "connect charger" range. Anywhere from 2% to 15%, and this can happen any time, even at 100% after a complete charge. if I reboot sometimes it jumps back up close to where it was, sometimes it goes up about half....and sometimes a reboot makes it show 0%, and the device powers off and i need to spend a few hours charging it after that.
I have sent my device back to samsung before and they replaced some stuff in it...but it didnt solve the problem, and now my device is out of waranty.
My device is not rooted. Any idea how I can fix this issue? I have no issue rooting my device I Just havent because I never had a requirement to do that.

S6 water damange, working battery issue
A friend has a Galaxy S6 that got some water damage.
The phone boots, screen works and all other functions seem to work.
The issue is, the battery may charge or be on 95% then it will maybe jump down to 25%.
Is this hardware (battery charging circuitry still a little moist) or battery (maybe circuity was moist, then dried but damaged battery in process)
Do you guys think its just the battery?

A9 battery life and development discussion.
So how good or bad do you think the A9's battery life will be with the s617 and amoled 1080p? Also what are the chances for decent development on the device { aosp }? i wouldn't really call this a lower end or midrange device. despite being branded iphone 6 copycat its still looks fantastic to me and is getting great reviews. so much so im contemplating returning my m9 to tmobile and buying.

Hi, I have installed Android 6.0 few weeks ago. Since last week I have noticed some weird behaviour.
While discharging, when the battery is about 40%, my Nexus 5 turns off immediately. Then, when I am trying to turn it on, I got a low battery warning and can't turn it on. When I connect it to the charger and turn it on, the battery indicator shows about 15-20%.
Is my battery going to die? It looks normal, not swollen. I tried reinstalling Marshmallow (with wipe) but it didn't help.
When reinstalling system, I noticed an other problem. Stock recovery doesn't work. After flashing it with

Today i have connected it to charger (not official, its samsung, but worked other times) but nothing happens...

Wlan off - still uses battery?

some time ago I recognized in the detailed battery stats (settings - energy option - battery usage - detailed history) that the orange bar of the WLAN is constantly shown, what would mean Wlan is on all the time - what its not.
now I had some time for testing:
put phone for some minutes in fly mode
than turned fly mode off (mobile data on, Wlan off) waited a while
for that time in the stats, as expected, no activity for Wlan
than turned on Wlan for a short time and turned it off again. waited again for a while
in the stats there is Wlan shown as active/using battery from the point of turning it on and off again till now .. :silly:
Now is the question: is it just an error in the battery stats or is it really still active in the background .. :confused:
one way to find out would be, to check the battery life (with similar usage of the phone) with all 4 possible settings, each time a circle off full charge to empty:
1. WLAN off all the time
2. WLAN on all the time
3. WLAN on and off half the time
4. WLAN on and off half the time (putting phone shortly in fly mode after turning WLAN off)
that would be quite time-consuming and still not very accurate?!
battery stat apps seem to need root, so I cant use them :rolleyes:

LG G4 USB is not recognised, battery shows constantly 80% on the UI, IMEI is null
Is there any hope for that? I can not install any image with USB connection like that. I removed the battery for minutes, I try to lift up the small "tongue" from the USB female plug... still no connection.
If the USB was working which image would I use with LG Tool 2014 if I'm European?

Help! battery keeps charging on and off without being plugged in
